IMPACT Awards To Recognize North Texas Startups

The TECH Forth Worth IMPACT Awards will be here before you know it. This is a multiple-day event wherein companies that bring innovative technologies to the marketplace will be recognized. Awards will be presented in three categories: Environment, Community, and Health. Each of these categories will have it’s own day of pitches, with an awards luncheon for all to be held later. Let me explain in convenient bullet form:

• March 27, 2012 – ENVIRONMENT Pitch event - UNT Apogee Stadium (2pm-6pm)
• March 29, 2012 – COMMUNITY Pitch Event - Sabre Holdings (2pm-6pm)
• April 3, 2012 – HEALTH Pitch Event - UNT Health Science Center (2pm-6pm)
• May 23, 2012 – IMPACT Awards Luncheon - TCU (11am-1pm)

The deadline to apply is February 27th. And, if accepted, you will be notified by March 9th. Your company must be based in North Texas, have less than $1M in revenue, have been in business less than 5 years, and own or have exclusive rights to a new technology. Winners of each category will receive professional videos made for them and be published in the IMPACT Awards publication that is sent to all Ft Worth Business Press subscribers.
