In light of recent news about a prominent, local investor, we felt it was time to say enough is enough.
Since our founding in 2009, Launch DFW has worked tirelessly to support and promote entrepreneurs in North Texas.
Throughout the past nine years, we have heard accounts of people within the startup community encountering sexual & physical harassment, discrimination, online bullying and more.
We have heard and seen enough.
The time is now for our community to stand up for what we know is right and expel the bad actors and behavior that hinder the progress that we have made.
To inspire and support the future of technology, business innovation and inclusive community engagement in North Texas.
Inclusive: We believe our startup community will be stronger the more inclusive and welcoming it is to all. #EveryoneIsWelcome
Community-Driven: We put the community first.
Respect: We hold the individuals in our community with the highest regard and deference. Respect is an extremely important core value and is intertwined into everything we do.
Courage: We boldly uphold our professional integrity rather than compromise ethical principles.
