27 Feb Big Ideas Happen Here: Ignite DFW finds a new home this spring
IgniteDFW is set to return for a 9th edition on March 13th, featuring another incredible lineup of local community influencers at a brand new home, Deep Ellum Art Company, whose mission truly honors the heart and soul of the Ignite movement – community, collaboration and bold expression.
Presented by Launch DFW, IgniteDFW is a volunteer-run event at the intersection of TED talks, Saturday Night Live, and that really cool block party you went to that one night.
The Ignite speaker series was brought to DFW in 2015 and was established as a quarterly event to inspire the DFW community to celebrate, talk about, and live their inner geeky passions. IgniteDFW aspires to provide a platform for all community members to teach the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area something that they are passionate about.
How It Works
Each presenter (there are a total of 13 at #IgniteDFW9) get 20 slides, which automatically advance every 15 seconds. The result is a fast and fun presentation which lasts just 5 minutes. Talks range from informative, funny, thought-provoking and even the kind that produce a tear or two. But that roller coaster of emotions and ideas is what makes Ignite so damn special.
Doors will open at 6pm and the show will get started at 7. Grab a drink from the DEAC bar or if you’re hungry, have a taco on us courtesy of SoCal Tacos Food Truck. Grab your tickets here.
