Deborah Conklin Named Reddy Ice New CEO

Reddy Ice Holdings Inc. and Reddy Ice Corporation have announced the appointment of Deborah Conklin as their new Chief Executive Officer. Conklin was also elected to the Board of Directors of Reddy Ice. Bill Corbin will continue in the role of Executive Chairman and serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Reddy Ice Holdings, Inc. is the largest manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice in the United States. With approximately 1,500 year-round employees, the Company sells its products primarily under the widely known Reddy Ice brand to a variety of customers in 39 states and the District of Columbia.

Ms. Conklin’s deep knowledge of the ice industry, operational experience with leading distribution and retail related businesses, and dynamic leadership style is a tremendous combination to take the business forward,” said Reddy Ice Chairman, Bill Corbin.

Conklin was a Managing Director of Centerbridge Partners, L.P. (“Centerbridge”) Portfolio Operations Team from 2013 until she joined Reddy Ice earlier this year, most recently as interim CEO of Pei Wei Fresh Kitchen. Previously, Deb spent a significant amount of time at Reddy Ice as an interim COO during Q1 and Q2 2013 to spearhead the company’s cost-savings and routing optimization initiatives.

Prior to joining Centerbridge, she was a Senior Operations Advisor at TPG Capital where she partnered with companies to drive top and bottom line improvements. She was also COO of Hilex Poly.  Earlier in her career, Conklin held several senior leadership roles at Masonite and Stanley Works.

Deb Conklin holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Queens University and a Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering, from Clemson University.
