Wellness Provider Viverae Expands Reach with Acquisition of SimplyWell

Viverae, a leader in workplace wellness technology announces the acquisition of health and wellness company, SimplyWell. The acquisition will expand Viverae’s reach, and the company will continue to be rooted in care and focused on addressing, improving, and controlling health factors within organizations.

SimplyWell was founded in 1998 by a group of pioneering medical professionals in Omaha, Nebraska, who envisioned improving wellness and workplace productivity, while cutting health care costs. To ensure continuity of service, SimplyWell will maintain a presence in Omaha under the leadership of Michael Demman, SimplyWell senior vice president.

Clients will receive the same core services in addition to enhanced new features, including iOS and Android mobile apps; gamified social challenges and community support; educational content; a scientifically proven behavior change tool; engaging digital communications; deeper analytics capabilities; and a self-service, on-demand data option.
