12 Sep Blue Star Sports Names Former Sabre Exec As New President
Blue Star Sports, the Frisco-based global provider of youth, amateur and professional sports technology, has announced the appointment of Alex Alt as its President and CEO. Alt joins Blue Star Sports from Sabre, where he served as President of Sabre’s fast-growing Hospitality Solutions business. During his tenure as President, he tripled the size of the business and firmly established Sabre Hospitality as the leading global provider of SaaS solutions for the hospitality industry.

Alt succeeds former CEO and Founder Robert Wechsler who will become Chairman of the Board. Blue Star Sports, founded by Wechsler in 2016, has rapidly ascended to an industry leading position in sports technology serving the complete sports ecosystem through the acquisition of 19 best-in-class companies such as Bonzi, Pointstreak, CaptainU, Krossover and Global Apptitude.
