We didn’t think it was possible, but the Frisco entrepreneurial community has just gotten even cooler. A new chapter of 1 Million Cups is scheduled to launch on September 13th and Frisco’s signature coworking space, LaunchPad City, will serve as the official hub for the popular event for startups.
Based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee, the Kauffman Foundation developed 1 Million Cups – a free program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs with their communities.
In conjunction with the City of Frisco, LaunchPad City is an innovation center that connects entrepreneurs with resources. Incubation, co-working, business development & funding resources are all available through the 50,000 square foot coworking platform.
“We are extremely excited to announce the launch of 1 Million Cups Frisco at LaunchPad City,” says Jessica Vittorio, 1MC Frisco Chapter Leader. “As Frisco, and the surrounding cities, have grown over the past several decades so has the entrepreneurial community in these areas. We are excited to foster an educational community for the entrepreneurs that may have previously been unable to participate in all the Dallas entrepreneurial network has to offer. The Dallas chapter has had a wonderful impact on the Dallas entrepreneurial community; and we are confident that the Frisco chapter will be a productive and meaningful resource for the entrepreneurs in this area. We look forward to seeing everyone on September 13th!”
