DBJ Announces 2017 Women in Tech Honorees

The DFW technology scene is growing by leaps and bounds; much of this growth can be directly attributed to the kicka$s people that live, work and play here. And I may be a little biased, but this region’s women in tech are not only playing an important role in that growth, but they are also putting the Big D digital scene on the national map in style.

There is still more that needs to be done when it comes to leveling the playing field for women in this industry, but for now, let’s take a moment to acknowledge some of the best and brightest as the Dallas Business Journal announces their picks for 2017’s Women in Technology Awards.

Now in its fourth year, DBJ shines a light on businesswomen in the North Texas community that demonstrate unfathomable leadership abilities when it comes to digital and technological innovation.

Honorees are selected from these three qualifications:

  1. She heads an established or startup technology company based in North Texas
  2. She holds a leading technological or scientific role in North Texas with a company whose primary product is technology
  3. Or she maintains a leadership position in North Texas in the IT or technology research department of a non-technology organization.

From Amber Venz-Box‘s game-changing fashion company Reward Style to Linux Academy‘s Big Data Analytics Queen Manisha Sule, these 25 women continue to make significant impacts on the tech landscape locally and nationally.

Celebrate these leaders live at The Women in Technology Awards on Tuesday, October 3, at the Westin Galleria. Details and tickets can be found here.
