Startup Weekend is the brainchild of Techstars, a worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed. Run by local organizers in over 700 cities and 150 countries worldwide, Startup Weekend is a 54 hour event that brings together local designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and experts from all domains to do amazing things.

Chirag Gupta is Startup Weekend DFW’s fearless leader and has been organizing the event since 2014. He’s the Founder of NōD Coworking in North Dallas and a well-known supporter of the DFW startup community.

What To Expect At This Year’s Event

Startup Weekend DFW: Fitness

Get ready for 54 hours of fitness, tech, and entrepreneurship. Coaches and experienced entrepreneurs will mentor participants as they develop new startup ideas and business plans. Last year’s projects included a variety of technologies including augmented reality, smartphone applications, mobile games, and interactive fitness equipment.

Whether you want to learn how to start your own gym or personal training business, launch a side hustle as a yoga instructor, or you’re ready to create the next FitBit, Startup Weekend DFW is the event for you. All skill sets are welcome to participate.

What’s In It For You?

All attendees will receive an interactive education on the lean startup methodology, event tee, sponsor swag and all meals, snacks, and drinks are covered. The top three winning teams will receive awesome trophies, recognition on the event blog, and exclusive prizes & offers from sponsors.
