TOOR promises to bring the real estate industry into the 21st century

TOOR is a real estate tool that is used by realtor and home sellers to ensure potential buyers have immediate access to a house on the market.  Recently featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, and showcased on both Tech Crunch and Forbes, TOOR is shaking up the real estate market and bringing it running into the 21st century.  Junior Desinor, who was praised on Shark Tank for his salesmanship and knowledge, is a Texas Tech University grad, and former real estate broker.

TOOR first made its debut as a Kickstarter campaign. It is billed as “The next generation lock-box for buyers, sellers, renters, agents, inspectors, contractors, guests, hosts, and more,” highlighting just how versatile this inexpensive device is.  The world’s smartest lock-box utilizes Bluetooth and cellular technology that interacts with an app, that ensures the safety and security of a home that is on the market.

The app, which is the brain center of TOOR, can be used by those in real estate to verify user identities, schedule home openings, and limits access only during times when the homeowner would like, ensuring security.  TOOR also has a hospitality-focused benefit as well, allowing users to be added to the guest list, verify user identifies, grant access to homes that are being used for short stays through platforms such as AirBNB, VRBO, or HomeAway, and allows the owner to chat with users.

When selling a home, TOOR connects a potential buyer that drives by the home with an agent that is close by offering near-immediate access to the house and better facilitating home showings and purchases.  In order to ensure the safety and security of the home, TOOR utilizes an ID verification process that includes uploading a picture of the user and the users state or federally issued identification.

With affordable pricing the TOOR original, usually $149, can be purchased for $99 and is available for pre-order. The TOOR Pro, which includes advanced features such as powering by cellular technology, the ability to remotely open and close the lock box, and monitoring of the TOOR Key Tag, is available for pre-order for $149, a savings from the usual price of $199.
