Linux Academy is announcing a partnership with Microsoft’s Visual Studio Dev Essentials to connect the first 25,000 Visual Studio Dev Essentials members to also receive Azure training as part of a three-month, all-access membership with Linux Academy. Meanwhile, the next 25,000 program members at Linux Academy will be awarded a two-month, all access membership.
The Azure Certification Training program is a 19 hour training experience spread out over three different levels of courses, Azure Essentials, Azure Container Service with Docker, and Azure Infrastructure Exam 70-533 Prep. This partnership allows the world-class training offered by Linux Academy to be improved upon by extending its library of training content to Visual Studio program members.
Linux Academy has educated and inspired more than 82,000 novice and expert engineers develop new skills through the academy platform. The training library provides an incredible amount of knowledge for users in a self-directed manner of style, ensuring the user has the opportunity to learn the material at their own pace.
Utilizing a mix of video coursework, hands-on lab work, real-time human interaction and mentoring, lab servers, practice exams, note cards, and learning paths that help to outline the best course of study based on the user’s ultimate professional goals, Linux Academy is taking education to the next level and making it accessible for anyone. Each course offers a certificate of completion, and there are multiple courses offering training for certification exams and the platform is supported on PC and Mac, as well as iOS and Android.
Members of the Visual Studio Dev Essentials program will be joining companies like Rackspace, MailChimp, the Associated Press, and Media Temple, among others, in the active Linux Academy Community.
