PediaQ continues it’s explosive growth, announces more funding and two vital partnerships
PediaQ, the leader in on-demand nursing triage and pediatric house calls, is pleased to announce another successful round of funding with $4.5 million raised for its Q.care application platform. Along with the increase in funding PediaQ is also announcing the create of its first pair of partnerships with Memorial Hermann Health System, and Baylor Scott & White Health.
The increase in fundraising will result in the ability for PediaQ to continue to grow in Dallas, Houston, and Austin along with the expansion of the Q.care platform into licensed relationships with national health systems. While Q.care is currently focused on the pediatric health care market, with little adaptation it can be altered to meet the needs of adult and geriatric patients with features that would benefit all health care markets.
While PediaQ has grown throughout the Dallas, Austin, and Houston regions ,a need for affordable, high-quality access to health care is a nationwide concern. PediaQ fulfills the need for parents to ensure the health and well-being of their children. With the funds raised it will be possible for PediaQ to continue to build smart partnerships that leverage the needs of the patient, along with the efficient delivery of care that the health care system today demands.
PediaQ eliminates the high cost of visiting the emergency room or urgent care, and with easy scheduling and on-demand services, PediaQ is covered by most insurance companies. For those without insurance or subscribers to policies that do not cover the services offered by PediaQ the cost is affordable in comparison to a typical doctors office visit, urgent care, or trip to the emergency room.
As a tech company PediaQ is constantly developing and the Q.care platform is evidence of the desire for continued growth. Q.care is the app that parents download on their smartphones in order to require house calls–of which more than 3,500 have been completed since the launch of the service in September 2015. The platform is the leader in on-demand health care, and with the partnership with Memorial Hermann in Houston and Baylor Scott & White in Dallas, the future offers countless opportunities for more growth with health systems nationwide.
