ACME Creation Lab opens E-lab

ACME Creation Lab is a non-profit community workshop in Dallas, Texas. It was founded by two guys who were looking for a place to work on their hobbies. After buying a 10,000 sq ft warehouse from Craigslist, the founders discovered the space to be too large for just two guys. So, they opened the warehouse to other Dallas creators. Most recently, ACME Creation Lab has added a 450 sq ft Electronics lab for the electronics fanatics in the area.

The E-lab host several tools for tinkers to uses such as:

  • Oscilloscope
  • Random Function Generator
  • Soldering and Rework Station
  • Vent with active Charcoal
  • Multi-Meters

If you’re looking for a 3D printer, or a place where you can tinker with your car, ACME Creation Lab has it. They also offer storage for big projects that you can’t take home- for a reasonable fee.

ACME membership is $50 per month. Members of ACME have 24 hours, 7 days a week access to the facilities and any of the tools available to get your crafting on. They also encourage their community of creators to bring and share tools. Starting in October 2016, ACME Creation Lab will also rent out air-conditioned office spaces ranging in size from 200 to 300 sq ft.
