Tech.Co Names Top 50 Startups at Innovate! and Celebrate; Four DFW Startups Make the Cut, No Others from Texas

Tech.Co introduced their Top 50 Startups that are competing at Innovate! and Celebrate 2016 that is taking place in the heart of Silicon Valley in San Jose from September 20-22.  There are four teams that made it from Texas, and all are based in the DFW region, showcasing the region’s top talent.  Noticeably absent from the list?  Every other region of Texas, including Austin.

Tech.Co has been hosting events and online competitions throughout the year, leading to the top 50 which are showcased online.  At the Innovate! and Celebrate conference, and in conjunction with the Consumer Technology Association, one of these startups will be named the Startup of the Year.

Launch DFW ran a Dallas New Tech event with Tech.Co which featured each of these four DFW area startups, highlighting their objectives and the direction that their organizations are going in.

The four startups from the DFW region are:

Cariloop aims to alleviate the burden associated with caring for their aging loved ones. Cariloop provides tools and services for families to plan for and manage the care of their elderly family members.  Through the app, it is possible to connect with healthcare coaches that offer assistance, as well as online case management, ensuring a complete solution to the challenges of successfully managing the care of a loved one.

ShearShare connects the owner and operators of hair salons and barbershops with hair dressers and stylists that operate independently to fill salon suites and stations for a specified period of time.  The spaces can be leased by the day, and they help owners make some revenue off of otherwise unused space, while also financially benefiting the independent operator.

Changing how people look at doing their laundry, Laundri, is an on-demand premium laundry and dry cleaning service.  Laundri offers reasonable rates and a 24-hour turnaround, with employees of the company picking up and delivering the laundry at home and work.

Xclaim Mobile is based in Dallas at the DEC and offers customers an enterprise-grade mobile-offers platform that takes into account the location of the device, the actual device itself, and the wallet type that is used to offer advertisements and offers tailored to their specific needs and expectations.  Called the most compatible mobile offer solution on the planet, Xclaim focuses on helping large companies extend the life of their digital ads.
