Dallas New Tech: Iuzeit

Yogesh Patel is the founder and CEO of Iuzeit (i-use-it), a Dallas-based startup. Iuzeit is focused on making product information streamlined, and readily available for consumers to make informed decisions. He spoke last week at Dallas New Tech and explained what Iuzeit is all about.

Yogesh explained that e-commerce is a trillion-dollar industry. With $57.6 billion spent solely on electronics online in 2015, that’s no small chunk of change. With this online industry comes no shortage of reviews from consumers, experts, and friends. However, the sheer number of reviews available on any given product are overwhelming. The reviews often vary in quality. Almost always these reviews are written by people you don’t know.

The goal of Iuzeit  is to make the product choosing process easier by bringing together product rating information, reviews from experts, consumers, and friends, all in one place. It will function similar to companies like Kayak and Trivago, except for electronics. Patel has created the platform to be personalized based on the user’s needs, and what he or she is looking for.

Iuzeit hosted a private beta launch earlier this year, and is working toward a public beta launch within the next few months.
