24 Feb Modern Message expands Downtown Dallas office
Dallas-based SaaS startup, Modern Message, today announced the completed expansion of its corporate headquarters to better accommodate the 120 percent employee growth the company experienced in 2015.
Modern Message pioneered the concept of advocacy marketing in the apartment industry through its platform Community Rewards. The platform gamifies the resident experience by rewarding users for creating content, referring friends, and sharing about their apartment communities through social media.
“We brought this concept to the multifamily industry in 2012, but last year was the year we hit our hockey stick moment,” said John Hinckley, Modern Message CEO. “The additional office space will allow us to increase productivity and creativity so that we can continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.”
Since 2015, Modern Message experienced an increase of 400 percent in new clients, which included 36 percent of the top 50 management companies to sign up for the platform, and recurring revenue well in excess of $1 million. This flurry of business created a need for rapid expansion in employee growth.

The new office space located on the 12th floor of Saint Paul Place in downtown Dallas (also known as the D Magazine building) includes additional offices, a conference room and a more modern look and feel to better reflect the company’s culture. Modern Message has already used the new space to host local events for the startup community, such as Ruby Brigade and client happy hours.
