Planning for Dallas Startup Week 2016 (DSW16) is well underway and there are some new additions to look forward to with this year’s event. Startup Week is a week of free programming, education, and networking that will take place at various locations throughout Downtown Dallas. You can check out the video from last year’s inaugural (and record-breaking) event here.
You can expect all of the same great sessions and programming at this year’s event as well as a few surprises. In addition to starting on a Tuesday, DSW16 will also include programming on Saturday that is fit for the whole family. Last year’s event featured hundreds of events across eleven content tracks and this year DSW16 is set to be even bigger. DSW16 will feature numerous events that span across the following tracks:
- Design UX
- Real Estate
- Social Entrepreneurship
Highlights from the content sessions include Creative Financing 101 (Arts), Design for the Mind (UX), Hardware Development and Optimization (Development), STEAM for Girls (Family), and Urban Farming (Social Entrepreneurship). You can also expect to find your other favorite events that will have special presence during DSW16 like Open Coffee Clubs, IgniteDFW, and Dallas New Tech (BigDNT).
This year, Allcal is the exclusive calendar app for Startup Week. An interactive schedule for your events and social life, the free app lets friends, family, organizations, coworkers, and teams share calendars instantly. By getting the Dallas Startup Week calendar on Allcal, you’ll have a real-time schedule of everything happening throughout Dallas Startup Week 2016. Allcal’s interactive calendar tool will send reminders and important last-minute changes right to your smartphone—so you’ll always have the latest information.
Full schedules, speaker bios, and maps will be available via the AllCal app. You can also check out AllCal at Dallas New Tech in March. They will be sponsoring the event and will give a demo and introduction of their app during the evening.
