Parkhub to manage parking operations for Tampa-based Real Estate Group

According to a story in Tampa Bay Business Journal, “Strategic Property Partners has struck a deal with a Dallas-based company that uses mobile technology to manage parking in its district in downtown Tampa.”

That Dallas-based company is none other than Parkhub, a startup that finds the premiere parking lots around your destination and provides routed directions with an ETA as well as added amenities. Strategic Property Partners will be using Parkhub’s “Prime” program in its downtown Tampa district which includes “close to 40 acres between the Channel district and central business district, including parking for hockey games and other events at Amalie Arena.”

Now if only we could get our own real-estate developers in Dallas to take notice of startups that could be of benefit to them. Then again, who needs parking when everywhere you go has valet?
