The Dallas Entrepreneur Center Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week

With thousands of events taking place across the globe for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), it should come as no surprise that The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC) would seize the opportunity to participate in this international conversation.

“Global Entrepreneurship week is representative of what a collaborative ecosystem does—just on a much bigger scale,” Trey Bowles, Co-Founder and CEO of The DEC said. “Not only are we a part of what’s going on in Dallas, Fort Worth, and North Texas, but we are all a part of what’s going on in the rest of the country and the rest of the world.”

Dallas is the fourth largest metroplex in the U.S. and home to many corporate giants and organizations that support entrepreneurs and startups. These organizations, accelerators, co-working spaces, media outlets, and incubators have been instrumental in the growth of the entire business ecosystem in Dallas. The DEC is a Dallas startup OG—they’ve been a key player since our community’s genesis alongside game-changers and influencers like Tech Wildcatters and even our very own Launch DFW.

In celebration of GEW, The DEC is hosting a series of special events—and there’s something for everyone. Be sure to check out their events and all of the other exciting activities taking place across the metroplex this week.
