Launch DFW – Fort Worth Planning Session

On September 16 we will be holding the initial meeting to share and discuss plans for the Fort Worth/Arlington division of LaunchDFW! Meet the editors and find out how you can support startup storytelling in the Fort Worth-Arlington MSA.
For some background, check out the article on The Re-Launch of Launch DFW and the announcement aboutFort Worth. Lin Nelson and I (and several of you) are very excited about the potential of where this could go so we wanted to bring a group together as soon as possible. Lots to plan!

Wednesday, September 16

4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

600 E Rosedale St
Fort Worth, TX 76104
We will discuss everything from the purpose of having Fort Worth editors, roles for supporting and the variety of ways we will be able to report on news and activities in our corner of the North Texas startup community. We will also have time to brainstorm on several items, especially ways to stay in touch on a regular basis. This last one will be critical.
Plus, you can stay for the IDEA Works happy hour that starts at 5:30 pm for drinks, networking, and a fun game of startup themed “Would You Rather.” We can’t be all work and no play.
Please feel free to invite any and all that are in support of telling the story of the Fort Worth and Arlington startup scenes. Plus anyone that I missed. We have a lot of territory to cover which means lots of diversity in the startups and events!
If you are interested, we hope you can make it. No worries if you can’t, we will have a second meeting for those that miss but want to be involved. This is just one more step to a stronger community. Let Lin and I know you are interested by writing to
