REVTECH 2015 Startup, Eskalab, To Open Dallas Office

REVTECH has announced that Eskalab, a participant of the accelerator’s 2015 program, has decided to open a permanent Dallas office.

The Colombian-based company headed by CEO Sebastian Cajamarca, has seen great traction during the accelerator program and has recently signed on 14 locations in Dallas as early adopters of their restaurant technology solution.

According to Cajamarca, “Dallas is an exciting opportunity for us to continue our growth in the United States. Texas has the second biggest economy in the US, business moves faster here, and there are a lot of opportunities to work with new customers.”

Eskalab automatically analyzes point of sale information in restaurants to support the strategic decision making of restaurant owners. Using a proprietary algorithm, the company provides solutions that increase margins, sales, and efficiency in the restaurant.

Eskalab is currently generating revenue with a number paid clients in South America. “Right now, we have 11 locations in Chile, 14 in Columbia, and we’re currently launching 14 new locations in Dallas. Our solutions for our clients in South America have resulted in a 10%-15% increase in the average check. Our customers see great value in our current service and we believe we will see similar results with the restaurants here in Dallas” said Cajamarca.

The company has also announced that it soon be launching a freemium model available to DFW restaurants. The freemium package will allow restaurant owners to input their data anonymously into the Eskalab portal and receive free assessments on their average ticket costs, market penetration and traffic. Eskalab will then compile a report that compares the restaurants key performance metrics with other restaurants in the area. “We aim to have at least 200 local restaurants take advantage of our fermium model” said Sebastian. “It’s a great program for restaurants to test out our services with no cost or hassle and receive free analytics and comprehensive data on how they compare with similar restaurants in the area.”

“Eskalab has discovered that Dallas is the gateway to restaurants in the US” said David Matthews, Managing Director at REVTECH. “From unique experience to global operations, Dallas has it all. We are excited to see Eskalab continue to grow in DFW.”
