Welcome to Launch DFW—North Dallas

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I announce my new role as Regional Editor for Launch DFW North Dallas. This first post is meant to introduce the region and to thank all of the founders, creatives, tech bloggers, and designers that make North Dallas awesome. You guys and girls ROCK!

I started one of the first coworking spaces in North Dallas in 2014, at the time very unsure what kind of response we would get. A year later, I’m proud to say we have been joined by five more coworking spaces, four incubator programs, and hundreds of startups! It’s an exciting time for the DFW startup community at large — and the other three regions represented by LaunchDFW include Denton, Fort Worth, and Dallas proper. So no matter where you are in the metroplex, these days you can easily plug in to the community by joining a coworking space or attending any number of Open Coffee Clubs or meetup groups.

Key Events To Attend in North Dallas:

North Dallas Startup Weekend, AT&T Foundry Hackathons, CoFounders Lab, North Texas Apps Challenge, LaunchDFW Startup Happy Hour, Hack UTD Hackathon, UX Roast, CAN Hacks Hackathon, Big Design Conference, Code Collective, Ludum Dare Game Jam, Hack4Good, App Devs Night Out
