The Grove Dallas’ Sustainability Month: Conservation, Leadership, and Community

We celebrate the 45th anniversary of Earth Day this month, and to further that mission, the Grove Dallas will celebrate with a series of events supporting sustainability throughout the month of April.

As part of the series, the Grove is inviting the community to an afternoon of storytelling and networking, centered around making Dallas and our planet a better place to live.

“This is a great opportunity to engage our community with issues of personal health, natural resource protection and urban resilience,” said Amy King, CEO of Nested Strategies and event organizer/presenter. “Through story and lively discussion, we will find common ground and the inspiration to take action in our lives and businesses.”

“Get with the PLANet” will feature several speakers, addressing topics around sustainability, water conservation, and urban agriculture.

“Our Dallas startup community can demonstrate global leadership by modeling triple bottom line businesses that place equal emphasis on people, planet, and profit,” says King.

“And this isn’t just a concept for social enterprises; it’s a new way of doing business.”
