UT Dallas Business Plan Competition: 2014 Winners!

Each year, the UT Dallas Business Idea Competition is held and gives undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to present their ideas, with $20,000 in cash and scholarship prizes up for grabs.

“With 64 teams, representing 208 students participating, this year’s competition was our largest ever – and the competition was fierce,” according to an announcement from the school.

Graduate student winners:
1st Place: OsteoInk
2nd Place: People’s Creative
3rd Place: Tech Innovate

Undergraduate student winners:
1st Place: RivalSeek
2nd Place: Kusema
3rd Place: Edge

“Past winners have gone on to start successful companies and to compete for additional prize money in business plan competitions around the world,” states the website.

Congratulations to the 2014 winners! It’s so wonderful to see what our local students are creating and innovating!
