Talk about a happy ending! Blownaway, Dallas’s premier on-demand beauty app, secured a six-figure investment from the Angels of Texas after presenting at September’s Dallas New Tech event at the Dallas Entrepreneur Center (DEC).
Since conception, Blownaway’s been downloaded over 1600 times and funneled over 250 orders, the most common being blowouts. The company recently launched spray tans, which are in high demand as the winter months approach.
Currently only operating in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, Blownaway plans to expand nationally in 2015 to meet the ever-increasing need for on-demand services – and not just in the beauty world.
Jenn Cruse, Blownaway’s General Manager, commented on the new investment. “The additional funding will allow us to continue to improve our technology as we get ready to make Blownaway a national brand,” says Cruse. “Blownaway has been honored to work with some of the most influential charities around town and we look forward to supplying high level professionals to the city of Dallas as we head into gala season.
