20 Aug There’s Still Time to Register for the NTX Apps Challenge!
If you missed the NTX Apps Challenge kickoff party at the DEC last month or any of the Saturday Build events going on in Denton and Dallas — don’t fret. There’s totally still time to sign up for the Challenge, and still opportunities to find a team and build your amazing app for sustainability in North Texas.
If you’re confused about what I’m referring to, that’s okay. We talked about the NTX Apps Challenge a little while back, and the Challenge is still going on. Participants are called to address our region’s major challenges in issues ranging from water conservation and waste reduction to energy efficiency and transportation.
Some important highlights:
- It’s a 3 month innovation competition, with a variety of events and meetups going on until the challenge ends in late October. Check out all of the events here.
- The Challenge is open to everyone in North Texas, and you can still register to compete and form a team by heading over to IDEA Works in Ft. Worth on August 25th.
- Weekly Build events (and free coworking!) are held in North Dallas (at Dallas Fort Work) and Denton (at Banter with Techmill), so y’all can get together and create beautiful things.
- September 6th is Dev Day, and things will get really real. Like, one-on-one sessions with engineers from Bottle Rocket, Gemalto, AT&T, and Socrata. Register here.
