Former American Airlines Executive, Rob Friedman, Moves to Traxo

Traxo, a Dallas-based company that has pioneered personal travel management, just announced the addition of Rob Friedman as Chief Commercial Officer. Friedman recently served as VP of Marketing for American Airlines.

“I’m thrilled to be joining such an innovative company that’s so well-positioned to solve some of the largest challenges in travel,” said Friedman.  “I’ve spent the majority of my career working on ways to effectively deploy technology and data to improve the experience for traveler, and the opportunity to do that in creative new ways here at Traxo directly and for our corporate partners is really exciting.

Traxo for Business, the company’s SaaS platform, enables third parties to integrate with Traxo’s itinerary and loyalty program tracking technology.  Partners can access travel data (through Traxo’s API) “or they can license a fully hosted, turnkey aggregation platform on a white label basis using their existing brand.”

“We help our partners solve their biggest travel data challenges, whether it’s open booking, travel expense integration, customer service optimization, or increasing the relevance of advertising and marketing programs.  And for the travelers themselves, Traxo is the most effective way to organize their travel,” said Andres Fabris, Traxo’s CEO and Founder, in a press release.  “Rob’s world-class expertise using travel data to solve major industry challenges and provide meaningful insights, together with his focus on the end-to-end customer experience, is a huge asset for Traxo and will greatly benefit both our corporate partners and our travelers.”
