Demanding a Vote for Innovation

Today is a day of action, and one of opportunity.

FWD.us is an organization devoted to tech innovation and opportunities for everyone living in the United States. It was “started by key leaders in the tech community to promote policies to keep the United States and its citizens competitive in a global economy—including comprehensive immigration reform and education reform.”

That’s why they’ve organized a nationwide day of action today, during Immigration Heritage Month.

FWD.us is calling for Americans to contact Congress to stand up for immigration reform.

In the upcoming months, we’ll be reaching out to everyone in our community to help support the efforts of FWD.us. And like FWD.us, we can “mobilize the tech industry to push immigration reform that will help all of us – founders and families.

Stay tuned for upcoming news and events, to support the immigrants in our own community who are looking for resources and support.

Next Tuesday, July 1, there will be an event at The George W. Bush Presidential Center. “The Need For Immigration Reform” will be a conversation for the North Texas business community, with a discussion focused on the economic benefits of immigration reform. Details are here.
