Healthcare Startup Showcase at Next Health 2.0 Dallas Meetup

We’ll be at Dallas New Tech, but if Healthcare is more your thing you may want to check out the Healthcare Startup Showcase at the next Health 2.0 Dallas meetup this coming Tuesday.

Summer is upon us and the weather is starting to heat up (sorta?), but nothing is more on FIRE right now than the growth of the Dallas startup community.  Thanks in large part to groups like LaunchDFWTech Wildcatters, the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, and so many more, Dallas is quickly becoming THE place in the US to be for launching tech startups.

So…why in the world should you care?  Well, because DFW is the major healthcare hub that it is, entrepreneurs here in town are hard at work solving some of the biggest healthcare problems our country is facing.  Let’s come together and celebrate some of their early successes and learn how we can support their growth in Dallas!

Joining us on May 6th over at the Tech Church will be 4 health/tech startups that have launched the past year in Dallas.  Each startup will have 5 minutes to share their stories with us and do 5 minutes of Q/A.  These startups and speakers include:

Kinesio – Founder/CEO, Nake Sekander

Simple Interact – Founder/CEO, Ravi Kalidindi

Healthfundr – Founder/COO, Sean Schantzen

Frogpad – Founder, Andrew Taylor

Wrapping up the evening will be Dr. Hubert Zajicek, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Health Wildcatters, who will share some early success stories of the graduating class of 2013 and some news about the incoming 2014 class. Finally, a HUGE announcement coming from the good folks from Startup Weekend that you won’t want to miss.

Pizza and beer served as always, be sure to RSVP!
