25 Apr CodeLaunch 2014 Competition
Have an idea for a great new app? Itching to get it launched?
CodeLaunch is hosting its annual pitch event, and they’re accepting applications until May 31!
What the event is about:
It’s a competition for embryonic stage startups to pitch their idea in front of an audience of judges, the startup community, and angel investors.
Who this event is for:
“Anyone from individuals with nothing more than a great idea, to sophisticated groups who already have a prototype, designs, business plans, and prior investors.”
When you should apply:
Do it now! And you can do that right here.
Last year’s winner, RentEval, also demoed at Dallas New Tech.
The catch? Giving up a slice of equity in your company. Winners will be offered a package deal that includes development services to get the product launched.
Code Authority will choose one or more competitors who are designated as “Overall Winners” at the Pitch Day Event. Winners will be offered a specific package of benefits and be offered a customized partnership with Code Authority.
This partnership will include a collection of services in exchange for a minority stake in the startup. If an agreement is reached between the parties these winners will benefit from a significant amount of free custom software design, development, and/or website development and hosting services. We hope to choose winners for whom these services will be enough to “launch” the startup. Code Authority will become a long term partner and investor in these startups.
Still, this could be a great opportunity for people with an idea that need help with development.
