Kickstart Monday: iPal Launches Indiegogo Campaign for Smartglasses Product

Editor’s note: Kickstart Monday is our ongoing series of profiling local crowdfunding campaigns each Monday (or at least we try to do one every Monday!)

iPal wants to get you into a pair of smart glasses and they just launched their Indiegogo campaign today to make it happen.

From the company website:

iPal is a wearable computer that fits your lifestyle. It is intelligent and can assist you in many ways, tracking only things that are important to you. Using the processing power of a computer, iPal makes sense of information you see and uses that information to help you, just like a smart pal. With such power, the possibilities for iPal are endless. Just imagine what you can do! And it looks good too. It offers style, customization and affordability.

If you are enjoying an experience, you can capture it with a wink or a blink. Hands free. Attention free.  iPal even streams live video to your friends and family. From use as a simple camera, to telepresence, driver assistance applications, and image recognition and retail searches, iPal works with any Android, iOs or Windows smartphones.

The truly unique aspect of iPal is that is actually tracks your eye movements and where you’re looking, rather than just the direction your head is pointed in.

The company is hosting an Indiegogo kickoff party this evening to further build support. Check out the Indiegogo campaign page for more information.
