Tech Wildcatters #8 of Top 15 Accelerators in US

According to research conducted by Professor Yael Hochberg (MIT) and Professor Susan Cohen (University of Richmond), Tech Wildcatters lands at the number 8 spot in the their Top 15 Accelerators list.

The rankings come out amidst a growing sentiment that the startup world is currently in an “accelerator bubble” and questions about whether or not accelerators provide any real, substantiative value.

“This annual ranking is aimed to start a broader conversation about what makes a great accelerator and inform entrepreneurs who are choosing between programs to apply to,” said Hochberg.

Criteria used for the rankings includes amount of capital raised, portfolio company valuations, exits, VC opinions and the opinions of graduates amongst other things.
