Hey DFW Startups – Get Your Pitch On at SXSW!
Every year droves of startups and entrepreneurs from the metroplex make their way down to SXSW. This year, there are even more opportunities to turn the trip into a breakout event for your startup.
Here’s a quick rundown on some of the pitch competitions/events that you can apply for:
ReleaseIt will give companies a head start on launching a new product or service at SXSW Interactive. Participants will do a short pitch about of their product in front of a live audience of SXSW Interactive, Gold and Platinum registrants, many of whom will be traditional press and /or heavy social media users. The Friday, March 7 event will include a panel of judges who will help determine which new product is the winner of the ReleaseIt at SXSW event — i.e., which new product they deem will most likely have success. Come be part of this exiting new SXSW venture!
