Passbee aims to simplify digital interaction between merchants and customers.
Through its API, Passbee Media has created a platform for business owners to create digital coupons or passes for their customers in a four step process. These passes can be limited by a range of factors for target marketing including location, number of total recipients, and limited time offering.

With the completion of each pass, a scannable QR code is created and can integrate into Passbook for Iphone and Google or Samsung Wallet for Android. If no existing platform is detected, Passbee also has its own app to store offers.
By sending push notifications, consumers can be notified of deals as they become available or as they draw near the pass location. They can also receive offers directly from the Passbee Media site.

“This is the opportunity for us: to educate and empower the merchant,” said Cofounder Walter Chen.
There are 5 different membership tiers for merchants on Passbee, beginning with a free 25 pass trial and ranging to an enterprise level. All memberships include an extensive analytics monitor to view customer engagement with each pass. Higher level memberships also include social media integration.
Passbee also offers an affiliate program in which users can receive up to 40 percent commission for each new member referral.
While Passbee is still working on some testing, the site is “about 90 percent live” according to the cofounder.
