UNT Seeks to Inspire

The University of North Texas will present awards to its students who demonstrate an exceptional drive in pursuing their natural innovative inclinations.

The Inspiration Awards are intended for all students in any field to come up with an original idea that benefits the community. This includes musical compositions, works of art, humanitarian solutions, and inventions.

There are 3 prize winners to be judged by a 6 member panel made up of UNT staff and 2 selected CEOs from the DFW business community. First prize is $10,000 with 2nd place sitting at $3000, and 3rd place at $1000.

Students must be nominated by a UNT staff member and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Five finalists will be selected to participate.

Selected works will display the participant’s intuition and forward-thinking by ¬†creatively battling a contemporary social issue or promoting a form of positivity.

Nominations will close February 1, with the finalists selected by February 24. March 15 marks the date of presentations to the judges and winners will be announced April 11.
