TiE Texas Funding Forum Now Accepting Pitch Applications
TiE Texas will soon be hosting their Funding Forum event and applications are currently open for startups to apply to pitch (no fee!). The deadline for submission is September 6th and the event will be held November 19th.

TiE Houston, TiE Austin, and TiE DFW, along with the Houston Angel Network, Houston Technology Center, Texas Entrepreneur Networks and the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship proudly present The TiE Texas Funding Forum, an annual event where aspiring entrepreneurs have an opportunity to present business cases to angel investors and venture capitalists.
Come pitch your plans to the Houston Angel Network, TiE Charter Members and other independent investors. There is no fee to apply – selected participants must commit to present in Houston on Tuesday, November 19th, 2013.
This is the perfect event for entrepreneurs:
- Looking for funding
- Looking to get real-time feedback on strategy and vision from leading investors
- Looking for tools and means to position your product/service in the market
- Networking opportunity with established entrepreneurs, investors and corporate partners

This event will be beneficial for all attendees, whether you are an entrepreneur, investor or a service provider. This is a great opportunity to network with some of the best in the Texas entrepreneurial community and understand how to make a successful pitch to angel investors.
All applicants will be invited to attend a half day workshop September 18th on “How to Pitch to Investors”, co-hosted by the Houston Technology Center at the HTC premises. Selected companies will be invited to attend a pitch rehearsal workshop in early November at START Houston.
