Meet the Health Wildcatters

Seed accelerator program for health industry prepares for the inaugural fall season.

Stemming from the success of Tech Wildcatters, expectations are high for the initial Health Wildcatters class to graduate this November.

Twelve to fifteen different health-related start ups will receive up to $35,000 in seed investments and access to mentorship driven support to lift their companies off the ground in exchange for 8 percent equity. The program will be fulfilled by a pitch day to investors at the time of graduation.

Over thirty different investors have already pitched in, with many of them providing their mentorship and advice to the rising companies.

June 18 marks the first meet and greet at the Tech Wildcatters Church in Uptown Dallas. The event will overview the accelerator’s intentions, providing access to speak with the many mentors involved, and celebrating the innovation to come.

Applications for the program are still in progress while the final candidates will be announced in early August. Early applications, which will close June 20, have a higher chance for gaining a spot at the kick off pitch day for start up selection.
