22 May Super Computing Company Celebrates Grand Opening of New Headquarters
Originally launched out of Houston in 2010, and currently based out of downtown Dallas, Nimbix will open its brand new doors to the public on May 30 in Anna, TX.
Nimbix is a cloud computing company that offers super speed servers for technical applications which require a mass amount of processing power. Examples of this are various bioinformatics projects such as genetic sequencing, data mining, and many others. A full list of featured applications can be found at http://www.nimbix.net/applications/ with options to run other applications by contacting their development team.
With its superior accessibility to the most time and cost efficient cloud computing services in the world, Nimbix has fully fleshed out its original ambitions calling for the advancement of the company.
“When we started in early 2010,” Co-founder Rob Sherrard wrote, “our original concept was rooted in our belief that economic forces will drive inevitable change in the way we compute information.”
It appears Nimbix has done just that. Since its start up, the company moved to downtown Dallas in 2011 and is expanding to a brand new building in Anna on Fourth Street. The new headquarters will accommodate the company’s sales department, while maintaining its data center on Bryan Street in Dallas.
To kick off a new era for the company, Nimbix will host a casual happy hour from three to nine pm on May 30 open to the public. The event is intended to introduce Nimbix to the Anna community and also to thank the corresponding friends, family, and investors who have helped and watched the company grow.
Food and drinks will be available as well as a “live demo of our new cold fusion reactor,” jokes Sherrard. To check out more information, locate the LDFW calendar event.
