Tech Wildcatters to Host Baylor Angel Network

If you’ve been looking for some angel funding for your startup, an event this coming Thursday may be your chance. Tech Wildcatters will be playing host to representatives from the Baylor Angel Network (BAN), an investor network which provides early stage capital for the entrepreneurial endeavors of the “friends and family” of Baylor University and the Hankamer School of Business.

However, they use “friends and family” rather loosely as they insist you do not have to be affiliated with Baylor to receive funding.

According to their executive summary, BAN looks for the following criteria in startups:

  • Seeking to raise $200K to $1M in capital OR if seeking more than $1M must have a term sheet from a lead investor group.
  • Have a fully developed product or service offering.
  • Have current revenue stream and/or a well developed and tested business plan.

To get all the details, you will need to attend this free event on August 26th. RSVP on EventBrite HERE.
