Metroplex Technology Business Council Names Bettina Bennet Tech Titans Awards Finalist

DALLAS, TX — Aug 05, 2010 / — Bettina Bennett, CEO and Chief Maverick of WhichBox Media, was named a finalist for the Tech Titan Emerging CEO award, by the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), the largest technology trade organization in Texas. This year marks the 10th Annual Tech Titans and Titan Fast Tech awards, recognizing outstanding technology companies and individuals in the North Texas area who have made significant contributions to the industry during the past year.

Bennett’s company launched its award-winning, next generation online publishing platform, whichbox(TM), into private beta in 2009. By February 2010, whichbox(TM) was awarded a 2010 OnMedia 100 Award for its “game-changing and disruptive” technology. Past recipients of this honor include Facebook, Meebo, Hulu, Brightcove, Shutterfly and others. In March, WhichBox Media was selected to be a featured presenter at the 2010 World’s Best Technologies conference, and in June was chosen by youngStartup as a 2010 Top Innovator at the New York Venture Summit.
