Startup Profile: CollegeJobConnect

Give us the 30-second elevator pitch of your company

Companies need to recruit top talent in order to stay competitive, and they need to do it in a way that doesn’t disrupt their core business or drain their wallet.

On campus recruiting is a great way to meet and hire talented individuals that can add immensely to any organization.  However, developing a recruiting program presents many challenges: traveling to campuses is costly and time consuming; there is no guarantee of success, and connecting with candidates outside of your geographic region is challenging or impossible.  CollegeJobConnect modernizes undergraduate recruiting, making it faster, easier and less costly than the traditional on-campus approach.

Tell us about the founders, who they are, backgrounds, and why they are passionate about your company

Jeff Iacono graduated from Dartmouth College in 2005 with a B.A. in Economics. After college he worked at Lehman Brothers for just under 4 years. He was a member of the Sales and Trading Department, working within the Hedge Fund Consulting group. For the past year he’s been running an independent consulting venture, named The ElegantBuild Company, where he’s won several client engagements that range from a major investment bank to small independent companies.
Paul Rosania graduated from Dartmouth College in 2005 and has a B.S. in Computer Science. He is currently a Senior Analyst at a boutique financial services consulting firm in Boston. Prior to that, he spent nearly 2 years as a technical co-founder of Careplace, a network of online support groups for people with chronic illnesses.
